In June of 2018, I decided to leave my posh (sarcastic) career as a private school art teacher to do what I've always wanted to do and make a go at making money on my art somehow. This is the first time in over 20 years that I am no longer an artist with a day job. I'm just an artist. Who knows, I maybe driving an Uber in a few months, but I really must give it a try. It has become all too clear to me that unless you do this life now, it will pass you by and you'll always wonder if you could have done it. So some things that were accomplished this were a group art show at Christ Church Cathedral, a solo show at the Grand Theatre Gallery in Frankfort, KY from July to September. In 2019, I have a solo show scheduled in Louisville at the Little Loom House and the future is bright for 2020.
I am also working on several ideas to present soon, and will get back with you on that...
I'll try to do this "blog" thing more often, but I really doubt too many people will read it. I'll check the analytics latter for an update on that last statement.
